I'm doing a NA build on a k24a2, im getting a type s oil pump, rbc intake, a 50* gear, 1320 2.5in header, invidia N1 2.5in full catback, injen short ram, and a complete replacement of the timing components. Motor came out of a daily driver 06 tsx with 160k miles. I don't want to ever open the motor up unless I have to, but would consider doing a headgasket. I wont be running any boost so I think ill be fine with my gains without having to worry about internals, should be a 250hp motor when I'm done. Great video man, very inspirational for me to finish getting all the parts to finish building mine!

When you're done building an engine how do you get it tuned if there isn't a shop near you? Do you have to do it yourself at that point?

300hp is a nice motor. You listed all the parts but when you use instruments to adjust. It would be great if you would just tell us what you doing and why. Little details can help us understand why you doing it.

Does anyone know. What is the max, compression ratio you can go on pump fuel? On a NA setup. I'm wanting to run pump, and E85 Cheers.

I have a weird question. Speed Factory has VTEC locking pins that permanently locks the rockers where VTEC is on all the time. Could you use those on the rocker arm assembly of a VTEC head and install the assembly and VTEC cams on a non VTECH head ?

When you cut the type s oil pump do you take it to a machine shop? Also is that type s oil pump not made specifically for the k24 that's why it needs to be cut?

What cams are been used? Im guessing its a stage 3 cam but what brand?? Anyone know?
