Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed the video! Just a few things I would like to add: This install went well, luckily I was able to use the stock clutch cable without any modification. I also didn't need to modify or extend my bikes electrical cables. (Its possible your bike may be different). Parts list down bellow. Furthermore:

- Because I mounted the throttle cables upside-down its a good idea to cover the small drain hole with tape

- Always double check your cables & wires! You don't want them to be kinked, rub (Causing improper wear) or in the steering mechanism

- Check your owners manual for proper torque specs

- Use cable lubricant if you use a new clutch cable

- The Rox risers clamps I used need a 6mm Allen key

- USE BRAKE CLEANER WHEN INSTALLING THE NEW GRIPS! :)

If your grips start slipping with time.. a tip I got from someone YEARS ago and I’ve used ever since: Wrap one or two wraps of duct tape around your handle bars under where the grip goes, pour gasoline on them and slide your grip on. The gasoline breaks down the duct tape leaving the adhesive.. doing this I’ve never ever had a grip come loose on me ever since. It’s dirt cheap, stupid easy, and you already have what you need in your garage. I haven’t ever heard of anyone else doing this but I wanted to put this back out into the universe to hopefully help someone else as much as it’s helped me over the years.

Back in the day we used hairspray to put the grips on. When it dyed it acted like glue .

Would normally chicken out and hire someone to do these installs, but part of the joy of owning a machine like this is being brave, tackling it yourself and not being dependent on hiring 'that guy.'

Putting the handgrips on, we usually just use rubber cement, it helps as a lubricant to slide the handgrip on but it also prevents the handgrip from turning after it sets up. Nice video, thanks for posting it.

It appears one unique feature of those Rox 2" risers is the design allows you to pivot the raised bar back or forward relative to the original clamps. It seemed to me Mr. Mostro should have confirmed his desired bar position before committing to the final placement of the parts that required drilled holes & even the tilt of the clutch lever etc. That confirmation probably required sitting on the bike and standing on the pegs. No harm done but he might have missed out on optimising the ergonomics for his particular height & reach. Subtle alignment differences can make a difference in comfort.

Subscribed. I need one (or more) of these bikes in my life. This would also be a great bike if you were looking to get younger folks comfortably into riding!
I also appreciate the cult following and helpful community.
Great content. Very informative and easy to follow.

If you look on the head of the "Philips" screws you will notice that there is a small dimple. This indicates that they are JIS(Japanese Industrial Standard) and NOT Philips screws. This requires a different screwdriver to keep from buggering up the screw heads when removing or tightening. The screwdriver that comes with the TW200 tool kit is proper, but you can also purchase a JIS screwdriver on line or from an upscale tool dealer to keep in your toolbox.

Nice video! Easy flow and informative! I've been wondering if you would need new cables and wires doing the risers upgrade! Thanks for adding the links also!

When checking throttle function place the tree at full lock and FULLY open the throttle then RELEASE to make sure the throttle moves freely and will spring back on its own. Repeat on each side at full lock.

Great video - Thank you. At 24:04, I believe the collar should be tightened against the adjusting nut (not towards the clutch perch) to prevent the adjusting nut/barrel from moving. I may be wrong though.

Great video love the new color I have the 2019 tw, at around 23.20 give or take that spring where your clutch cable hooks up doesn’t look like it’s hooked over top of the lever like it’s supposed to be, makes clutch feel little mushy don’t know why they don’t hook it over like it supposed to be I pointed it out to my dealer on another one on there floor but they never did correct it only takes a second with needle nose next slap you a fmf power core 4 on there sounds good give you better pulling power on long grades enjoy 👍

I'm considering trying the Pro Taper ATV high bars. No risers needed, and quality bars.

I just tried to install Tusk D-Flex Pro handguards on my stock TW200 handlebars but couldn't make it work since the bar crossbar is right where the inboard clamps should be. This Pro Taper bar might be the answer. Don't know if 7/8 clamps are needed or 1 1/8 clamps since the bars taper. If you install handguards on yours we will see. Great video.

Not having any issues with the clutch cable was a flex on tdubskid lol ngl this feels like a copy of his video but a slightly improved version. Thanks for the tips.
