Oftentimes startups fail because they are not able to successfully scale. It is not because you have built a product that nobody wants, it is mostly due to your inability to find the required number of people who are willing to pay and adequately communicate the value of your product to them.

While working on your product market fitness, invest some time and resources in identifying the smallest viable audience who truly care and will stick with you through thick and thin.

Honestly, this is more difficult than getting 10k app downloads in a month. It can even be harder than paying 5k new users half of their LTV to try out your product.

To successfully scale, you must find your smallest viable audience, delight them with excellent service, win their loyalty, make them your advocates and grow with them.
