187. Huge! Cirrus Cloud Pour ~ How-To ~ Fluid Art

As you may have seen, lately I have been inspired by the sky and the clouds and have begun working with a slightly different technique for my cloud pours. This technique I have dubbed the Cirrus Cloud Pour and I've been doing tons of tester pours to see if I can get it just right. This is one of my favorites so far and is also the largest on a 24" cradled wood canvas. 😍 Colors I used are mentioned in the video. I've recorded several more and will be sharing them over the coming days. I hope you like these videos and perhaps you too will be inspired! Thanks for watching.

I do REALLY like the video shorts I've seen of your cloud pours. Can't wait till you share the recipe! Just started pouring about this time last year, got in to one of the local once per month Craft Fairs this year... Had coasters, clocks, vases, jewelry I'd made from paint skins and even some I taught myself to do with beads.... Just did their last weekend show off the year, and I honestly don't think I even made back the fee to be in the fairs... Everyone complimented my stuff, and my prices I kept so low, I know for fact some didn't even cover my cost. I love doing this, but now the company I worked for has been closed since May, and between my PTSD and anxiety issues, my mother who's 82 and just fell and broke her pelvis after not being completely healed from femur break last May and refusing to stay ANYWHERE she could receive 24hr care, or do the exercises PT sends with her to do at home, I'm stressed to the max, and really need ANY suggestions you might have on how to get my work out there to be seen and hopefully purchased, cause honestly the ONLY relief from my anxiety being on 100+ 24/7 is when I do paint.
Sorry, idk why I just spilled ALL that on you, but I'm just searching for ideas on how to get my items out there...

One thing that I have been wondering about as I watch the cloud pours is how many paints in the piece are opaque, semi-opaque or transparent. I just did a cloud pour and realized that I should have used an opaque Payne's gray instead of semi-opaque. I'm going to try the opaque today. I just think it would be interesting to see how your colors show up on each piece, knowing that info 😊❤

K this is just stunning!! I know you said you like it with the Ciirus (sp?) cloud across the top, but when you had it upside down, it reminded me of a white ice or cloud cave, with a light at the end, beaconing you to come into the light!! Just wow, I love it ❤
