Jackson C. Frank is one of the most tragic artists to have existed, who died broke and homeless, and was blinded in one eye when shot by some kids in that state. It's only befitting to have his song included in this movie.

I just looked up Jackson C Frank, and holy Hell, he might as well be a reflection of Arthur Fleck. His entire life was pretty much one bad day after another, starting with the fire that burned his school and his then girlfriend, then having mental issues, and becoming homeless in New York. No wonder they used this song, Jackson and Fleck are two sides of the same coin. The biggest hint was Arthur's clown name at the beginning of the movie was Carnival as well.

Whenever i hear "king of all, here me call, here my name - carnival" i think of joker on top of the car after he painted the smile on his face with his arms spread out with the riot around him.Truly a perfect fit for the movie

i couldn't hold back my excitement when the song came up during the movie. it's the last song i would ever expect to be in a movie soundtrack, mostly due to the fact that jackson is a very underrated musician, but there it was. and it was very very beautiful. it makes me very happy that he will finally get the recognition he deserves, kudos to the person who was responsible for the soundtrack, it was amazing.

This song showing up in the movie is such a double-edged sword. On one hand, it's exposing millions of people to the song, millions of new fans of Jackson C. Frank, and that's great. On the other, now when I say it's one of my favourite songs ever, people are gonna immediately think I stole it from Joker and am making some kind of statement by saying it's one of my favourite songs, and that's not so great. If you're reading this, please listen to Jackson C. Frank's one album, it's powerful, the one release of a man who led a more painful life than you or I could ever imagine, but out of that came some of the best music, as is always the case
