I'm a Google Tester, and I have to agree with their policies like that, and I'm fine, it's their rules. Most creators are spoiled and drama queens, if Apple do that, they will be happy but because it's Google, all drama. A lot of creators owe their fame to a lot of lazy, and ignorants that instead of doing a research, they listen creators as a golden rule.

Embargos are both a good and bad thing. For the viewer, embargos ultimately means that they get watch delayed, but more in-depth reviews. You don't get youtubers scrambling to be the first to get out a full review. They have a full week or so to actually use it and then just set their video to release on a specific date and time. For consumers, it means pre-ordering a phone before really knowing all the ins/outs of the phone. With many of these phones, the popular models get sold out by the time reviews come out and they have to wait an extra few months to get it.

I personally don't care about all this. You know why ? Because if I don't like a product, I can return it. Sure it may be a waste of time and you're not always paid back right away, but it's how it is. I tried the iphone 13 pro and could not get into iOS despite all the phone qualities. Fine. I returned it. End of the story. People see negative stuff and get paranoid for nothing nowadays. We all know that Google has invested tons of money and really count on this phone. I doubt it's bad, it's just how they handle things. People should just relax.

I respect Mr. who's because he declined and wrote about why he declined, but the people who accepted the terms and started shouting at their camera that they don't like this need to grow up. You willingly accepted the terms, now deal with it.

What’s wrong with the embargo? It end on 25 Oct so that’s only six days they’ve had to wait before full reviews. People can still review it once the embargo ends.

Totally agree. I think the big creators are mad that smaller creators can get as much coverage as them. Views are everything. I personally prefer smaller channels, they're more honest to me. And I don't believe just having the phone for one week makes a review, should be a month at least

Preorders don't ship until 10/28/21, so once the full reviews come out after 10/25/21 people can cancel the order before they ship if they want...at least that is what I'm going do if the reviews are bad.

Why don’t they call apple out on this. Nobody is allowed to review an iPhone when it is first announced. You basically get to talk about what they announced at the keynote but you don’t get to review the features. It’s a only a few days before it actually goes on sale that you get the reviews of iPhone.

I think some people just don’t like playing by the rules. At the end of the day Google have released android 12 to pixel. I think it’s safe to say you can gauge how the software is running by looking at the likes of pixel 4/5 etc. surely this will give you an idea of how it’ll work on pixel 6? Plus all the videos I’ve seen show the pixel 6 absolutely whizzing through the scrolling etc from screen to screen. I have a feeling that if this scenario related to an apple product, nothing would be said. At the end of the day we didn’t even get any iPhone 13 reviews until a few days after the apple event? Some people might think mr who’s the boss is acting like a spoilt brat! Rules are rules, sometimes we don’t like them but have to put up with them. I don’t think Google are acting any different from apple . Plus you get a certain amount of time to return your phone no questions asked anyway! Well unless you buy direct from a shop, then you have no excuse as you can try before you buy. I’m siding with Google on this one. I don’t think they’re trying anything other than stretching out their advertising! And let’s face it tech YouTubers aren’t backwards on coming forwards to get free hardware!

Go into some Best Buy stores and the phone literally will reset and block you from accessing features. While also been in stores where it works but is laggy due to software limitations

After watching this video and going through the comments I have 2 points
1. Google is creating a equal platform for everyone to showcase their video by dual embargo.
2. Google is trying to make money through pre orders before a phone review is released, which ofc makes them looks bad and it is their fault and they deserve the criticisms.

Smart buyers will always wait and watch multiple reviews before buying a phone 😊
