VE33s is my go-to tire for the Sierra Nevada mountain range, with TUbliss 3-4 psi and you can conquer anything

Your evaluation and video is really well-organized and informative. You deliver useful information that enables the viewer to make an informed decision. IMHO, the background music is nice and the proper volume. Thank you.

VE33S is the Goldilocks of tires. It has been a fantastic performer in the Northeast tight technical environments of, rocks, roots, brook crossings and mud.

Nice review!! I love the v33s 💕 I will never run another rear!! Does well with fast single track as well.

Thanks for taking the time for doing this review. I’ve been running the ve-33s for a few months now in the Vancouver BC area (PNW) and it’s by far my favourite tire to date. For winter riding weather (cold and wet here), I just put on a set of Dunlop AT81-Ex. They’re very gummy with amazing grip in the wet roots. I look forward to trying the IX-09 to compare.

I’m from Vancouver washington and do a lot of riding out near Tillamook Oregon (browns camp, diamond mill, etc.) haven’t ever done much riding out near Spokane/Idaho area. Hoping to get out there this December though!
Great video man

Just picked up the VE33S for my TE300. As you stated, I've heard it's a great all arounder.

I’m an ix09w gekotta person here in East Tennessee. Can’t beat it.

Appreciate the review! I have a M5B sitting in shed that I am planning on running in the E Washington races this season. How would you compare the VE33S to the Cheater 525? The 525 has been my go to tire for the PNW.

Thanks for the review! Hopefully I don’t run into problems with the soft carcass of the ix-09w gakkota with the tubliss system.

I run M5B here in Southern California. Just tried the ve33s, not too bad on loose sand.

I’m not tire spinner but Dunlop’s at81ex is soft and only last for 15 hours.

I flip the direction each 7-8 hours which is about half of its life

I think this tire is close to ix09w and has 2 plies of struct as well. I had 3 flat tires in 6 hours with tubliss……

What do you think about JX8? In between ve33 and ix09?

Interesting about the M5B sizing being smaller than expected. Is this your opinion or something known in the industry?
I was going to order a 120/80-18 but now I'm thinking a 130 at least.

Lower the damn music! Otherwise a good vid.

Wonder how these compare to an at81 at 0psi

For my Westbird5 KTM 500 I've been very pleased with the M5B coupled with a Tubliss and LOW psi. Like Velcro traction I tell people! As it wears down I get another fresh tire feel when I cut and edge on the leading corners. I ride it in the ugliest PNW trails in the winter sloppy roots and rocks.
My channel vids reveal this traction. I must state though, the Rekluse in 2nd gear instead of 1st in the gnarly tech stuff is THE magic for maintaining traction!

I am very interested in the VE33S but the 110 size makes me leary. I've always ran the FIM rated 140 tires (Michelin and Shinko). Does the 110 mount up larger than the size indicates? I wish they would offer the tire in a larger size

Which tire do you think will be best for loamy muddy mx track during rainy season?

Nice review. If I can find a VE33S or M5B at a reasonable price where I am, I'm be keen to try.
