Thanks so much for mentioning my Flosstube today, and also for showing the books you received. So glad I could help the retreat Carol and Jennifer.

I MUST have a paper working copy that I can mark up and write notes on. I print out a copy when I start a pattern, cut it out so I can tape it all together so I have the full pattern, and then fold it up to the section I'm working on. Just an FYI here... Mountain Laurel Stitches is a flosstuber who's latest video, is a tribute to her Mom who recently passed away, who was an avid quilter. I think you guys would enjoy all the quilts she shows.

PDF because I don’t have to wait for the mail and I love markup R-so. Happy stitching all.

I usually buy a pattern and then copy it off for my use so I can highlight the stitches I have put in to try and stay in place. When I am done and it is all marked up from finishing, it goes in the garbage. Love the story about babysitting the dog and cat. Hilarious!! Glad daughter is doing well at settling in in college and son busy with tennis. Keeps Momma busy. Five. 😊

I love Carol's math, 5 is a great number to choose. I always use a paper pattern. Looking forward to the next video.

Ladies, thank you for another fun visit. Your finishes are all lovely. I'm impressed with. you both starting things at a retreat.
I love Carol's hair and her counting. It sounded perfect to me. Five is the answer. 😂
I stitch from paper, making a working copy, and I also use pattern keeper for newer patterns.
I enjoyed this visit. Thanks again.

Paper all the way. I can use the copy to protect my work when my St.Bernard wanders over to see what I am up to. Great episode ladies. Cheers 🍻

I make a paper copy of both paper patterns and pdf’s. This way I can mark up what I have stitched. Thanks for all your inspiration.

Love Carol’s justification! LOL! In my mind, whatever works! I use a paper pattern. If I have to mark up, I run a working copy (don’t mark often—old school). I put the pattern on a magnetic board and use magnetic line markers. High 5 to you ladies for great videos!! Happy stitching!❤

Wow! You two had so many beautiful projects!!! I love your quilt, Carol. And the gift for your DIL for Christmas! And the gifts for the tennis team. Jennifer, congrats on your honorable mention awards but especially the 1st place on the lighthouse piece! As always, I love your temperature chart. Take care and can't wait to catch up the next time!
