I have the secret to preserving puna yam and stop it going bad after cutting. It is cinnamon 🙃 and it actually works. My puna yam was still fresh 2 weeks later and all because of some cinnamon 🙃 We nornally have to cut all our yam and freeze the extras because it spoils and moulds quickly, but not any more 😊I don't know how the cinnamon does it, maybe it has something to do with it's antifungal and antimicrobial properties, but what ever it is, give it a go 😉
