OnePlus 7 Pro | One Week Review

I've used the OnePlus 7 Pro as my full-time smartphone for about a week now and it's strong competition for Samsung's S10 Plus and the Huawei P30 Pro, thanks to its powerful camera tech and premium hardware. Here's my early review of the OnePlus 7 Pro, one of the best mobiles of 2019!

Compared with the standard OP7, this Pro model sports many desirable updates. Yes, there's the triple-lens camera, but also that gorgeous full-view Samsung display and stellar battery life. Performance is one of the greatest of the year thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset, while I love the durable glass design work.

On the software front you have Android Pie bolstered by the latest OxygenOS overlay, which adds some funky new features including Zen Mode and screen recording. Oxygen OS is as lovable as ever, and looks super smooth thanks to the OnePlus 7 Pro's 90Hz display.

The UK asking price starts at £649, so yes, this is more expensive than the standard OP7 - but also a lot more affordable than the S10 Plus and other premium smartphones. Check out my full OnePlus 7 Pro versus videos to see how it stacks up to the P30 Pro and other favourites from 2019.
