Astronomers have discovered KOI-5715.01, a superhabitable planet 3,000 light-years away that could support life even better than Earth! Orbiting a stable orange dwarf star, it may offer billions more years for life to evolve. But can we ever reach it? Watch to find out!

70 billion years of war is what humans would bring to this planet.

100 k years is a very.... very short sacrifice for 70 billion years. Geuss we should packing now 😅

Mind blowing how the hell they can tell anything about a planet that far away

We will never travel galactic distances until we have learnt how to travel when not where.

That was mosly like earth without human🗿

Im thinking of the sore back I'd have with the gravity on that planet

Am I the only one who thinks this guy sounds just like Howard Stern?

We don't deserve it.
Not until we get our shit together*

Need to know the mass compared to earth. If gravity is too much or too little compared to Earth then Humans could not inhabit it for very long if at all since our bodies wouldn’t be able to adjust to the change in gravity ESPECIALLY if its increased. Not to mention atmosphere has a lot to do with it. Life and HUMAN lofe are two different subjects

I’m backing. We in the future don’t travel like you folks. We use wormholes and black holes to travel between time. Right now there is no technology to do that, yet.

See the problem here is there’s way too much gravity there so we’d just basically be dead instantly

Even if we develop a space craft that could reach the light speed it still would take 3000 years to reach it.

gravity would be twice the strength of our planet, theres no way its better suited then earth, also we'd probably go extinct before the end of that star

As long as that planet is not as hostile as Earth with all the periodic mass extinction events from cosmological, geological and natural disasters/disturbances that keeps setting back humanity into Stone Age.

If this planet would allow us to continue to innovate and evolve for Interrupted hundreds of thousands or millions of years and maybe a more favorable environment where we could thrive and considerably raise our life expectancy and/or slow down aging then and only then it could be a better planet than Earth

That is so far all reach. It’s a waste of time and money just doing the research.

So I would have twice the gravity how is that more habitable if human beings have not evolved for that type of gravity.

Brotha they gonna ruin that planet too

Shorley twice the size meens gravety twice as strong how strong wuld we have to be careying twice your body weit around

All wrong.
Just for starters:
1. The gravity in such a place...
2. what space ships we have that travel at 3% the speed of light (10, 000 Km/sec).
What a bad contribution for scientific literacy
