Does an order like this have to be approved by the senate and congress before it can be passed?? Or is this different?

Edit - did some quick research (might be wrong)

But according to Google -

“Executive orders do not require any action by the Congress or state legislature to take effect, and the legislature cannot overturn it.”

But

“Presidential executive orders, once issued, remain in force until they are canceled, revoked, adjudicated unlawful, or expire on their terms. At any time, the president may revoke, modify or make exceptions from any executive order, whether the order was made by the current president or a predecessor.”

So, if this is True, there is nothing the states/government can do once an executive order is made. It becomes law.
But once the president’s term is over, it can be changed/modified by the next president.

If this is True- it all depends on this next Election. But I do have to wonder how this would work.
This would protect illegal’s from getting deported, but what would happen if that order was revoked/modified to do the opposite?
Like, can you revoke something like this?

thats good news for me. ive been in this country for over 30 years and getting residency through my spouse whom ive been married to for 8 years would cost us over 8, 000 dollars which we dont have. and this would only make me a resident so i wouldnt even be able to vote so im not sure where alot of you guys are getting your information but this is actually going to help some people.
