Hello friends! This is one of my favourite songs ever and not least for the biblical meaning behind it. For lots of us as Christians, there's this inexplicable longing in our hearts for the nation of Israel and to be in the nation of Israel. Jesus promised that He's coming back one day to reign as King over a heavenly Israel, and in that day we as believers are looking forward to going over the Jordan to see our saviour. He died for the sins of everyone, so if you'll just turn to Him and believe then you can be part of that too! Anyway, I hope you enjoy and sorry for the dodgy camera focus haha!

My dad passed 3 weeks ago. He was only 55 and had a long-term illness. His parents had already passed, and 3 days leading up to his last day, he sang this song to my mum in the taxi on the way home from church - "I'm going there to see my mother, I'm going there to see my father, where there is no sickness, no toil nor danger in that bright land to which I go". I miss him everyday. He was my hero. ❤🕊
