The post credit scene is a reference to a file in the OG RE5 that explains that Ada never delivered the plaga to wesker

This is amazing. Setting up 5 remake and perhaps CV remake alongside it. This is the perfect chance to improve 5 ten fold and retcon Weskers fate. Have Chris and Sheva defeat him like in the original game of course. But hint at his survival as Umbrella Corps. Game strongly hints at. Setting him up perhaps for RE9.

I've been waiting to see Wesker again. Hopefully they remake 5 and keep the action/horror balance that this one had, even if they have to completely redo the plot.

Resident evil 5 & 6 need a remake to fix the mediocre ending to the Wesker saga of RE.

If they develop more Wesker as a character in 5 and make him the main villain in 6 we could have all the main protagonists of the first 6 games fighting against the man that started all this.

That would be a much better ending to this side of RE in my opinion.

The melee system RE5 will bring to the table is going to be top notch, especially if they go back to Chris actually being able to duck/counter after things such as grabs.
