Kinda sounds like you just bought the wrong phone? 🤨
Complaining about storage despite getting the basemodel with the least storage, complaining about the size and flat top/bottom even though that should've been something you think about before getting a new phone. It's like buying a base model G-Wagon only to complain about it being too slow, big and bulky. Anyway there's of course absolutely valid criticism here. May not an option for you since you say you already struggle with battery life, but I noticed that setting the processing speed to Max really improved things in terms of speed and I personally easily make it through the day despite capping the battery at 85% and running on max processing speed.

I have SD8 Gen 1 version of the s22 ultra and it's like you are talking for a totally different smartphone. I'm using it for two months now and I'm totally happy with it. I had wi-fi issues with my previous phone Iphone 11, but never with the S22Ultra. Battery lifе is great for me, but maybe I'm not a hardcore user. I usually take it off the charger at 6 in the morning and in the evening when I put it back to charge, the battery is between 30 and 40%. Size is not something to hate, because it is not like you didn't know how big it is before you buy it :D And with the size comes the screen. And that screen is...Oh My God... greatest ever. About the lag. I remember when Apple introduced the iPhone 14, they said that the competition could not yet surpass the Apple A13 Bionic in terms of performance, but not so. I thought my iPhone 11 was fast until I did a speed test between the two phones. But when I decided I wanted such a phone, I knew it would be the snapdragon version. And even though I'm from Europe I managed to get one. I will be glad if I have been useful to you with this opinion. Happy Holidays folks :)

No one can make excuses for the exynos version, I have the SD and it's quite amazing. There are Problems and that's normal for a any device, but i have very few. I will say the app developers should be a bit faster with patching things, but only a select few in my experience. And no the Problems you outlined I don't experience. When i first got it there were two Problems, proper screen refresh deployment and battery life wasn't desired, . It took 2 or 3 updates but since I would say June, my experience has been amazing and continuing to exceed my expectation, hopefully the 23 fixes all the exynos Problems, whether warranted or not the complaints are massive and you know samsung is listening.

Having used Samsung phones since the S2 and now with the S21Ultra and Z fold 2, I have to disagree with you regarding the camera quality of Samsung phones. Samsung markets spec heavy camera hardware but when it comes to image processing, they are not the best. Samsung’s image processing is heavy on over sharpening and over brightening images... when you zoom into the images, the oversharpening is evident. They have reduced it significantly from the days of the S7/S8 when images basically looked like water colour paintings if you zoomed into inspect fine details. This is where the image processing of the iPhone and pixel shine for me. They are sharp, retain natural texture and higher resolved detail without any hint of artificial software sharpening. Samsung, unfortunately, gives prime importance to what looks better on the display in the showroom than actual quality.

I bought a Samsung 22 Ultra on pre-order. Sold in May. There were connection problems. And the phone is the bomb

The problem with the phone is the exynos chipset, it's bad, so bad. If you can get the Snapdragon version you will experience a completely different phone. Grate video!

Well... I was always thinking about this phone and I still have it in mind though. I don't mind the size and the pen. I would definitely use it for graphic and video designs 🙌🏼 I need an upgrade in 2023

I actually thought I got a bad unit at first. Overheating, poor battery, and lag. Even crashed a couple of times in the camera app before some updates. I had the Note 10+ since launch, and that was a better phone than this. Ok, no 120hz and the old cameras, but that phone feels faster, and the battery was much better. I am really disappointed by the s22 ultra. I'm hoping the s23 will be what I expected from the s22. If not, I think it's time to say goodbye to Samsung.

Great honest review. Too many cons listed are quite alarming. Mainly down to the Exynos chip which will be rectified in the upcoming S23 series which will have the SD 8 GEN 2 in every single region the phone is sold.

Exynos can REALLY ruin the experience. Almost all of the criticism go directly to that processor.
