Thanks for the info that after a stalk has flowered it won't produce a flower and can be cut back!

white lilies became the national flower of Cuba, during the revolutionary war women used to pin them on their hair with paper messages inside the flowers garden you have!

I use the flowers to make tea or just add it to my tea. I have not eaten the resume, how ever. Are they eatable? How may I tell which gingers are eatable?

Hi there. I ha ve some butterfly ginger. Mine have moved from Va to Fl to the mountains of Northern Ca, back to fl and now in Va. Is possible to grow this ginger inside the house or in dirt or in a hydroponic way?thanks for any help.

I'm having a hard time finding a good spot in my yard for these, would they do well in morning shade and afternoon filtered sun? Or, Full morning sun till about 1:00pm, then full shade for the rest of the day?
