After 4 months of prep, a very bumpy ride, I ran the Surf City Marathon in my 3rd ever full 26.2 mile race. Enjoy!

For being hurt and not getting a lot of the training in, you did AWESOME. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished! Congrats and heal up fast!

So, lots to be impressed with about this...but jumping the fence after the end of the marathon...that's mindblowing, haha. Good job!

Man the mental toughness to run an entire marathon and a PR with an injury is crazy. Good job man!

Congrats on the PR! Such a shame with the injury, I've been dealing with it myself these past few weeks. Just really glad to have you back, can't wait for some more videos! Speedy recovery brother, your videos have helped me so much, you're the reason I started running back in 2021 😊🙏

ELIJAH this is so inspirationaly guy. I am also dealing with a small discomfort in the left outside part of my knee. after running the surf city half marathon a couple days ago I felt good and positive to keep training for the next race but the pain unfortunately came. I managed to get around 1:30 half which im so proud but know it makes me so sad not being able to run without that pain there. currently working on strengthening the body better to prevent these things. Videos like yours is what keeps me going. much love.

Heck of a video and recap! I'm glad you took the time you needed to digest the whole race and give some good insight on everything. Props on the PR man!

Way to grind it out. Injuries have a cruel way of ruining our plans regardless of how prepared and guarded we against them. Literally watching this vid with my calf on a bag of ice.

Hell yeah, Elijah, you rock!
Keep grinding, my brother.

Congratulations on your PB! I am glad you are ok. I missed watching your videos. You are a very gifted runner. It is amazing how well you run. I can relate to your struggle. I ran the Houston Marathon on January 14th. Four days later, I went for an easy run and noticed pain in my right knee. It turns out that my patellar tendon was inflamed. I stopped running for a month to allow my body to heal. I really missed running. I learned that I needed to do strength training, more stretching, and biking to help strengthen my body. I was only doing running and some stretching before. I am now running again and slowly building up my mileage. I pray that you have a full healing. Take care.
