Try to answer the questions at the end of the video and tell me what you think!

I have this exam for my birthday 😭 what an amazing gift. Could be a worse exam to have though. Feeling pretty good for paper 2 though! Good luck everyone

Love the video! Just with the practice questions some of them are on topics that aren’t assessed so to everyone make sure to look at advanced info for this year as well!

1q ) Fungi and bacteria
2) not accessed on Aqa
3) not accessed
4) mitosis is for replacement of dead cells where as meiosis is for reproduction
Mitosis forms genetically identical copies where as meiosis form genetically different copies
Mitosis form 2 copies . Meiosis forms 4 copies

1) Bacteria Fungi 4) Meoisis genetically different offspring whereas mitosis is identically the same.
Meiosis There is variation in the offspring. Mitosis there isnt.
Meiosis has two parents whereas mitosis only has one.

plan on revising the main focus but also the older topics that are low tarriffs so i don’t loose easy marks. gonna do you blurting diagrams for the required practicals and fo last paper questions. gonna practice my 6 and 4 marker timing as well. currently watching your video on my way home. doing a 5 hour revision session before bed .

You're so encouraging! I'm worried about science exams, since biology is the only subgject that will pull my grade (I totally failed physics and chemistry). Thank you for the tips^^

1) fungi and bacteria cause decay
2) frontal lobe is the part of the brain that makes decisions
3) long-sighted people have difficulty seeing objects as their occipital lobe has been damaged? (not sure if this even answered the question)
4) mitosis has 1 parent cell, mitosis is asexual, meiosis occurs in plants and humans only
5) haven’t leant this yet
6) not sure why more land is being used, but farming has decreased biodiversity because of all the deforestation that’s happened to make land for the farm(ing to happen)

This is so sweet! Thank you so much for helping us all, it’s really appreciated :)

My gosh Jaden, just coming back to tell you: Your practice questions made me look up biodiversity last night and it really did come straight up in my 2BR today😭😭 thanku

1. Bacteria and Fungi
2. Cerebral Cortex
3.The eyeball is too short so light focuses behind the retina.
4. Meiosis involves 2 cell divisions. 4 genetically different daughter cells are produced rather than 2 identical ones. No genetic variation in mitosis.
5. A nucleotide is made up of a base binded to a sugar and phosphate. Attraction between the bases keeps the structure together.
6. More land is being used for farming to increase food production in order to meet the rising demand. Farms are being expanded to increase their output and increasing land results in the loss of natural habitats and ecosystems which reduces the range of different populations in the area.

Not sure about question 5 and 6. I know 2, 3 aren't coming up, but I don't trust the advanced information anymore...

6:06 I don't have the slightest clue on this one. Have to look it up.

Wish I did AQA Biology, I’m doing Edexcel and the questions are so much harder

6:09 The easiest question by far.

More land is being used for farming because more people are being born, increasing the population and therefore, increasing more food demands.

Another way more land is being used for farming because more and more people are eating more, which also increases food demands.

And in return, this decreased biodiversity because we have to chop down more trees for room to farm, and in the process, it destroyed habitats for many animals and killing them in the process, making it less diverse.

A nucleotide is a mono more that holds phosphate groups, 5 carbon sugar and nitrogenous bases. 4 nitrogenous bases in dna are adenine, guanine, thymine, cystosine. In rna the thymine is replaced with a uracil base. This is what makes up living things.

question 4:
3 differences between mitosis and meiosis
mitosis is asexual reproduction meiosis is sexual reproduction
mitosis produced 2 identical daughter cells (haploid) meiosis produces 4 daughter cells (diploid)
mitosis are genetically identical?? only question i can answer 😃

1) bacteria and fungi
2) not in advance info
3) not in advance info
4) - mitosis involves one cell division whereas meiosis involves two
-mitosis produces genetically identical cells whereas meiosis produces genetically varied cells
-cells produced by mitosis have a diploid set of chromosomes whereas cells produced by meiosis have a haploid set of chromosomes
