I have Saturn conjunct my natal Mars and it has definitely been a huge learning curve learning to balance these two energies. So much hard work and then it's like at times the harder you work it can work against you. Painful lessons in life indeed. I have the opposition.  Michael Jordan has the opposition too. It's hard for me to handle failure.  I have this huge fear of losing that pushes me to work harder.  As I've gotten older, I've realized that failure can be a good thing.  It means you are pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and growing.

This is crazy accurate. I have the square and all my life I struggle with expressing my anger. I suppress and tolerate a lot until the breaking point of chaos, where I don't even recognize myself. I put in so much work, to the point of exhaustion, and see very little results. So frustrating!

This is surprinsingly accurate. I was saturn mars opposite and until very recently, I always felt my masculinity was hurt. When I was a kid I was bullied both at school and at home by my brother (he was a child, not his fault).
Also, accertiveness is very hard for me. And when I blow up, I blow up.

Mars in Leo, 28 degrees. Saturn in Pisces, 6 degrees. Mars opposition Saturn. I did have a lot of physical abuse in the childhood, not to mention verbal. And yes, I have been told that I am a volcano. The rage is .. oh it's there 😄 and everything else said .. all accurate.

I have mars in 11th house (square saturn in the 8th), I was very bullied in childhood and I grew up hating being around people my age, feeling they were lying, that they were there for some ulterior motive, or because they didn't have someone better at the moment, or because I pushed it, I always felt very hated and like the joke was on me always. I have very low tolerance for rejection (or what I view as rejection) or any type of rudeness or behavior that isn't obviously nice, I get so angry that I rather just end the friendship. Friends and communities were always a point of conflict for me, now I've just given up and decided to keep everyone at a distance.

I have this placement. yes, I was noted to have a lot of patience as a child. I was the second oldest of 10 children and the only girl child. I was often expected to be very selfless, as my grandmother was. my dad really wanted me to emulate her. it was difficult, especially since my older brother bullied me a lot and any form of retaliation resulted in me getting punished, so I had no choice but to build tolerance. it also led to anger issues that was very hard for me to get rid of, but I did eventually and found  sense of happiness instead. :) there was a noticeable bombardment of childhood messages on being "perfect, " and it took me a long time to recognize and accept that I am a human being who is going to make mistakes, and it is OK. I think the point of this placement is to build a character that is able to persist no matter how insurmountable the task may seem. I always say, "when your best is not good enough, that is when you get better." :)

Great insight as usual :) I have Mars trine Saturn, Mars is my chart ruler and Mars is in Virgo, the sign of my Sun. I'm going through my 1st Saturn return. I recently worked an emotionally abusive, completely draining job and lost my voice which had been strong for all of my life. I'm a Saturn/Sun dominant so this was world-shattering. My Saturn Return has calmed my fire dominant, mars-chart-ruler, leo/capricorn stellium self and I no longer feel as lost, torn, or aimless.

I have Ketu/Mars in the 5th w/Rahu/Sat in the 11th. SO many energies there, I can't even start to explain! lol. Anyway, most of what you said was spot-on, Lada. Thankfully, I've learned to channel my anger well so I don't explode at any given moment (when I'm angry, I will let you know!). My confidence has also increased dramatically since I started weight training. I also love to walk/hike very long distances, so when I'm stressed this is a good outlet for me. However, I've never attracted abusive partner's and I was never abused as a child. One thing I do find extremely difficult initiating is making/keeping friends...but I'm working on it! Great vid :)

This is all true (mars opposition Saturn), my dad put me down every time I tried to accomplish something, it was never good enough. He would come to my concerts races etc and always comment on how other people were great and ignore my performance or say it was fine. If I got a 96%, why not a 98%? Nothing was ever good enough and he was also verbally abusive. It has made me really scared to try competitive things. If I think I won’t get something for sure I don’t even try, because I have so much anxiety about failing. I hate putting together furniture as well lol and am only good at long distance and endurance sports.
