This video gives a quick demonstration of the table point in time (PITR) in Oracle Database 12c.

Note. In this case it would be easier to do a flashback query to get the data as it was, but I'm using this simple example to demonstrate this functionality.

Will it recover complete tablespace on which table resides during table recovery via rman in 12c?

I asked many times to DBA to recover table via Rman in 12c. He always say that it is recovering tablespace on which that table resides. I read lot of documents and table recovery via rman 12c means table recovery but then why is it recover tablespace?
