@4:20 I worked at an ER for years. The heart attack protocol involved a specific blood draw panel, imaging, and I.V. access being instigating. It has never been less than 4 hours (plus travel times) to my memory unless they were released AMA.

I'm not going to lie, I fell for father Michel. He seemed so sweet, joyous and sincere with a litl humor on top. God protected me from fear so I didn't fear anything that was "coming", but I did believe it all. I can imagine if one did have fear tho, which I'm sure we're many, poor folks. May God help him.

Thank you for covering this. I once watched a video in which Fr R was being interviewed and it was troubling and did not seem credible at all. He also seemed strangely giggly all the time. I pray that he does not mislead any more people.

Yep: As laymen, we WOULD be led to think that, if this priest is still in charge of a monastery and order, he must be legit, ultimately. Hey Michael, I was wondering if you’d be interested in doing a video on Medjugorje (unless you’ve already done that before). I’m personally on the fence about it. I know people who’ve had profound healings and spiritual experiences there, but I have just seen far too many things about the people connected to it that make me skeptical. If not, no biggie since it hasn’t been explicitly approved or denied by the Vatican so I get not making something on it. Just think it would be an interesting topic since you’re the King of Nuance!

Edit: I’m specifically referring to the messages and apparitions, not the individuals’ experiences of healing and conversion. People often have used these experiences as evidence to make the claim that the apparitions must be true, but I’m not sure if that’s the case

I’m so glad I wasn’t (spell edit) wrong when I discerned that this Fr was the reason my mom was terrified for us and end of times. She got pulled in during Covid lockdowns and was obsessed with his visions.

We prayed a lot and now she’s doing much better, started going to church again and stopped her immense dislike for anything pope Francis. And by immense I’m not coming close to the virulent way she spoke about him instead of praying as she is now doing.

I listened to him...I think he is orthodox in teaching yet these tall tales...let's hope he has a mental disorder that compulses him to tell tall tales (which would or might give him a mitigating circumstance when we grade if he is committing a mortal sin saying these tall tales ...because if he lies on purpose that would be a sin...not sure if it meets criteria for mortal sin because no one is hurt by his lies but a bad way to influence others to be prayerful etc...Pray for Fr Rodrigue

I watched his livestream this am. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I like to watch a lot of these to see what they say and who follows so when all is said and done I know where each channel stand. Also the Psychiatric nurse in me likes to analyze these people so I can see the same behavioral and speech patterns in others with similar claims.

I don't know what to think, as it won't stop me from believing in Jesus in any way, and many people have been brought back to the faith because of him too!
