Ayato was a godsend. I had a haran laying around I lost a weapon banner 50/50 on long ago, so I thought, I might as well. It also just so happens that I've had Xiao for a year and never built him, so I had a great reason to farm Echoes/Vermillion domain and build both lol

From an artists perspective the tall male models look normal. Idk I never thought they looked weird until I saw posts about their knees but they look proportional to me. I even saw other artists compare their torso to thigh to calf ratio and it’s anatomically correct for art. Measure his torso, his thighs and then his calves and they are all meant to be the same size

For solo dps Ayato, I’d recommend using Mika for Ayato as his skill gives an attack speed buff (up to 25%). Or any other character that buffs attack speed, Yun Jin or other normal attack buffing characters, and Bennett. And if your crit rate is low, eat a Pile ‘em up. Everyone has at least one.

ayato is definitely still good. if you have neuvilette you definitely don’t need him, but he’s a godsend for those multi wave combat events (like the one we just had). that’s his niche, he loves enemies spawning on top of him for him to cut down over and over again.

27:27 Bennett’s fully charged skill (the one that sends you flying backwards if you have no interrupt resistance) will hit the flying turret from the ground… but it can’t recharge 4 times before that section times out 😂
When I first got to that boss I only had ranged Electro (those turrets are immune to electro and hydro) so I ended that fight most of the time with that little drone poking his ankles as I ran around stuffed with hashbrowns.

Little tip for scara, you can put zhongli’s pillar down and it will chip at the one in the middle. Then hold bennetts e until he hits up into the air and he will break the ones in the air too (: zhongli can also hit the ones in the air if you place his pillar right under them (same with yunjin, the one in the middle)

Ayato is very fun to play with in my opinion, the biggest problem with him is that theres just better options.

If Ayato would ever get any buffs he just needs slightly more damage output in my opinion, like maybe increasing the effects of the stacks that convert HP to additional damage

Nice vid, something I wanna say is that Im kinda surprised to see that finale of the deep has been completely forgotten. It gives a whopping 565 base attack with decent 30% atk 2nd stat. Even without clearing the bond of life it still gets a fix 15% attack at r2. From my personal experience I had a drastic power spike from amenoma kageuchi only at r2. This weapon is juicy and worth mentioning imo.
