The actors are decent, but the direction is so STATIC. In real situations, people having a conversation would be doing other stuff at the same time: maybe fidgeting in a tense scene, or merely occupying themselves with something in a normal setting. Here the director just has them either talking at each other face to face, (with consequential audio problems, as he switches from one to the other) or moving around aimlessly. That bridge-crossing scene seemed to last an eternity.
