At the start of the heart, if you are used to doing a magic ring you can do that then do 6 single crochets.
If you are a beginner and don't know how to do magic ring or are uncomfortable with how many single crochets you are putting in one small stitch, chain 3 or 4, slip stitch into first chain, chain 1, then do y single crochets in that larger loop.

sorry, you started out so nice and slow- teaching us like we have no experience. then somehow by half the video you treat us like we already learned and memorized everything😭 i had a very easy time creating the caps then struggled so much to follow you after that. by the end of the video you’re moving so fast i don’t know what to do anymore🥲 i spent nearly 2 hours and im thinking im just gonna have to scrap my little project at this point😭
