unfortunately that doesn't work for transparent images. unless windows 11 changed that in Paint. in any case, a simple batch script with ffmpeg or imagemagick would prolly work. you could put it on he desktop, make it take one webp argument and then make it save to the same location as that webp. and then even delete the original webp of you want. so that when you drag any webp file to it, it just auto converts.

but i get that the average joe prolly doesn't know about that, so understandable.
