Ernie Ball Music Man & Grammy winning guitarist St. Vincent have teamed up to present an imaginative new signature guitar. This unique electric guitar was crafted to perfectly fit her form, playing technique and personal style.

Featuring two signature colors hand-mixed by Annie, an African mahogany body, Ernie Ball Music Man tremolo, gunstock oil and hand-rubbed rosewood neck and fingerboard, St. Vincent inlays, Schaller locking tuners, 5-way pick up selector with custom configuration and 3-mini humbuckers, it doesn't get any more St. Vincent than this.

Gear Used:
Music Man St. Vincent Signature Black
Music Man St. Vincent Signature Blue
Fender Princeton Reverb Combo 1979

Riffs:
Birth in Reverse by St. Vincent: 0:00
Don't Speak by No Doubt: 1:54

Best demo. A woman playing St Vincent songs in a demo video for a St Vincent signature guitar is just the best!

Great playing Amy. This is a great review because you are actually playing St. Vincent parts. -Justice Constantine

Her hands make the Fret board look as wide as a 7string to me... made me do a double take... counted the tuners lol

I think we all want a demo with both Amy and Tricia

This guitar got a lot of hate on some sites but I think this thing is rad. Also great demo.

Three hours in, and no one is being creepy in the comments. Don't want to jinx it, but good job so far Internet!

Great demo indeed. But what the hell is that headstock. Just WHAT WERE THE DESIGNERS THINKING? "Hey, we came up with this really cool and unique looking angular body, but what about the headstock? Oh, I know! Let's throw a standard curvy MM headstock with natural finish on there! People sure won't like a matching headstock with a pointy shape that complements the body!" Seriously... Otherwise it's a great guitar.

I still have no idea what this guitar sounds like. Can we get some clean tones?

I need more variety in the sound on the demo. That borderline fuzzy sound is too one dimensional. Love the look though

Enjoyed it all. Thanks. I have Sterling version and it's nice but would enjoy Ernie version. Way cool

Appreciate that Amy is shooting for the St Vincent tone and style (pretty close approximation btw) but this is an interesting design and it would be cool to see a video that showcases the (Annie sez) versatility of this gutar. So far I have seen demonstrators on YT comping either hoary old blues licks or gnarly fuzz.melodic lines. I am guessing the guitar covers a bit more ground than that. St Vincent is pretty inspirational for many women (and dudes) but how many people will just buy this guitar to 'be like Annie'? Lets see the breadth of what it is capable of ... or it a one trick pony? I think it looks great btw.

Is there a fuzz or something in the circuit? Cause if that's the tone out of a Princeton reverb that is very different than I would expect. Even if you're running the amp hot it seems like there isn't much sustain or resonance in the tone. I could be misunderstanding the guitar completely.

I wish we could hear a contrast between clean and dirty tones instead of a "sound like st Vincent" demo.

That wasn't long enough. More!! More!!!

The wiring configuration is really nice because you can get all combinations you expect from 3 pickups( you can get "position 2(or 4)" sound if you put the selector between the middle and bridge/neck). But the over-satulated tone in this demo ruins the difference. What a shame!
