I just wanted to point out my favorite happens off screen and it's in Dream Team. Somehow at one point, Bowser as able to kidnap Peach before Mario and the others could hide her in the dream world and made them think Kamek was her all along. It was a rather genius plan especially when you consider Dream Team one of few games were Bowser is extremely competent and an actual threat.
