Why soul riding was a really smart move

Soul Riding quickly became really popular, and everyone seems to be enjoying it. In this video, I'll be ranting about how this might be the smartest thing they've ever done.

I don't care about the horse XP getting lost, I only buy horses when I want a horse, not when I need a new to train 😂 But I totally understand this point of view!

Together with the Soul Riding and all the other races in game, I've managed in just two weeks to level 6 of my horses.
Cause now a horse only takes three days to go from level 1 to 15 if you do all races, the soul riding tests and quests (and finding the animals around Starshine Ranch because, dear God they give a lot of exp too).

Excluding the pony and Icelandic races 'cause of all horses not being able to them.

I would say Star Stable wins this time >.>

Yes, just what I thought. It's great design overall to keep players interested while making time for developers to create more content but I wish they were more careful in placing the missions. Like, just the other day I had a calm the horse mission or whatever it's called and I was like "oh yeah, this horse runs up a steep hill without any problems and I take a dangerous fall if I follow it which I'm supposed to do... right, very well placed npc horse pathing..."

When they announced an amazing free reward I was like "Please don't give us a horse". Guess what, they are giving us a horse. I'm not really happy with that but the mechanic itself is really fun and it's a good idea to keep us engaged and log in every day!

Im excited that someone made this video! I study business and this move is extremely smart because your horses get trained fast you spend more time in the game tempting you to buy more things in game. Keeping more people in the game = more people buying things ingame

Wow, I was just thinking about this the other day! I came up with the same idea about keeping people busy, and not having to release new content for a while. I definitely agree with this vid.

i personally don’t like it at all. i got bored after a few weeks and now i don’t really do them anymore. they could’ve made it a little bit shorter. it’s takes too much time that i don’t have. :/

I was wondering how I was training my horses so quickly and realised that it must be the soul riding. I didn't think of it in that much detail.

You're right Eleanor. I honestly agree. My positive effects are that we reach & finish milestones + we get rewards for all of them. And the negative effects are that some missions are quite confusing and almost impossible. And that it takes us like 3 months to finish Soul Riding. I am on 108, 000 Reputation points right now. And some people are still trying to get to 90, 000. Those are the inactive players. I agree with you. I also had fallen into the trap. But I honestly do not care. I can waste the Horse EXP if I want. I will buy Horses when I want to. Not immediatly. I maxed out 4 Horses by doing Soul Riding. I missed 20 days of Soul Riding in the past. But it is not stopping me from continuing and enjoying Soul Riding. I adore the video by the way. It brings some realisation to Soul Riding. Keep up the good work! 😍

for me soul riding is boring, i prefer playing from time to time and now i have to log in every day for about 15 minutes and do the same missions all the time, the only thing i enjoy is training my horses in this way 😂 because i have so many horses at level 1-10

I haven't fail any missions cuse this work as the regular quest, so if you quit while you in active quest, it reset and you can start again. It's not a cheat, not a bug just the game mechanic, so you can start the missions.
