For $275 the devise is a steal!  Always love the build quality of Blackberry and this looks no different.  Very industrial/professional looking device.  Hope the performance matches the looks!

I kind of like it.  Will be interested to see how long a 2800mah battery lasts on that device.

Looks like the slider will double as an all touch device. it'll be rad. Fragile but rad. First q10 style capacitive keyboard, great specs and huge battery also.

Cam, couldn't help but notice the shortcuts and speed dial option in settings. Can you please tell me if you can use the virtual keyboard to assign hot key shortcuts in the universal search? In particular, emailing, texting, instant messaging certain contacts and app launching?

Looks like Blackberry is wiping off the dust of their old inventory since this thing is definitely from 2012.

If the Passport came with android, I'd probably buy it. Great work phone. I miss physical keyboard. :-/

Hello from Canada! The Blackberry Leap is not meant for public consumption.  This is a phone meant for corporate rollout and maintenance.  Your business will buy these for its employees, lock it down for business communications.  Sony, you may wanna pay attention.  That is all from Canada..bye!

Sadly. Blackberry is a witness that what goes up surely comes down. I try to like it but..Apple is next. Will it be android? Windows? All three for the one not yet out? I think hardware will ship soon we put our own software choice on. In a tech dream maybe?

Just trying to be as much impartial as possible when I state my opinion here about nowadays Blackberry full-touch phones (I actually prefer the type-and-swipe in touch phones than the physical ones, saying from a die-hard former user of BB Bold 9000). 1/ Blackberry Hub is amazing - can't imagine how someone can ever text, call, email... in a different way after getting used to it. It's THAT intuitive. 2/ Typing is simply the best, nothing is even close to the typing in my BB z30. Bad side: sometimes it makes me want to smash my Ipad mini and swear bad words in a few occasion I have to send something from the ipad. 3/ The only real multi-tasking OS in the market, Fck the IOS, Fck the Android with their claims of multitasking. 4/ Swipe gesture OS is as beautiful and near as it is intuitive. 5/ My BB Z30 is a tough little phone. No case, no screen protector. After 2 years of everyday usage, i dropped it for the 102nd times yesterday. Running as smooth as ever. A few scratches though....
