The idle air control valve keeps your vehicle's engine idling when the throttle is closed. Signs of a failing IAC valve include a surging idle, and stalling engine. This video shows you how to install a new idle air control valve on your 1992-2000 Chevy Tahoe.

This repair was done on a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 5.7L and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
