Stripping UF Cable - Underground Feeder Cable

To strip UF cable, cut through the center of the insulation at the end of the cable. Pull out the ground wire and pull back to your desired length. Then cut through the sheathing over the other wires and pull them through. Cut off the ends of the individual wires where you damaged the end.

My 12/2 UF has way heavier insulation than that. That there looks more like regular Romex.
