Generally an SCP is an anomaly classified by the foundation, In the early days of the site the community mostly focused on Horror and stuff like that, as time went on the quality became better and much more diverse SCPs with different quirks and special stories and abilities have been added, people sometimes have misconceptions that SCPs are your average murder humanoid monster, but it really isn't. Many SCPs are Internet glitches, Viruses, Clothes, Toys, Locations, Dimensions, Concepts, even planets themselves, there are also stories and canon hub tales that either focus on a timeline or specific SCP (Canon Hub).

SCP Has gone such a long way and it's sad to see that so many people still don't appreciate SCP as they should appreciate.

i have a little theory on why heavy is in the middle, see in the event of a breach all the nasties are in the middle. if they go to the left (light) then thats 1 extra zone gone to, then when they finish they go back to heavy (2 extra zones) and then entrance (3 extra zones). if they were where light was, it would only be 2 zones giving less time for foundation reinforcements to arrive, i mean they could go straight to entrance but knowing how bloodthirsty some of them are it would make more sense to go to light. also, if they started off at light, then as they make their way through the zones thats wayyyy more guarenteed death than if they were where heavy was, giving foundation personnel in entrance more time to get away. everyone in light is pretty much always going to die
