Persona represents the boyband persona that BTS carries.They try to portray that with the theme of each album.They have different photo shoots as a way to express the theme of the album.
That's the only difference.

1. Face yourself and Youth and Wake up are CD with music but japanese ver. of songs and songs only in japanese like: For you, Don't leave me, Let go, Crystal snow.
2. Different vesions are different -> photos are different.
For example, WINGS album there are 4 albums W, I, N, G and the difference is that W is album with photos of Jin and group photos, I is mostly Jhope and V and a few photos of the rest, N is mostly Yoongi and Jimin and few of rest, G is Kookie and RM and few of rest boys. In LY there is 4 ver for Tear, Her and Answer and all are from different photo sessions so you have 12 different photo albums. Persona is the same. You Never Walk Alone are 2 ver. of album. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1 and Pt. 2. are very similar with big group photos but also ar photos from different photo shoots. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever are 2 albums: day ver. and night ver. - obviously photos in day light and at night.
3. And there are Musters and Summer package and Concert tours and Concept albums its all special things with special photo shoots and some extras.

My fav albums are Wings, O!RUL8, 2? and Tear (I like ver. O) if we talking about albums + music, BUT You Never Walk Alone are the most beautiful albums ever.
First was Her ver. L and next Tear and then Dark & wild. And etc ;)

Persona were my first BTS albums. I got versions 2 & 3! I love this album so much, cuz my fav colour is pink and the cover is a heart, and you know it was my first BTS album, so it’s a kind of sweet romance to me 😆

Wow...I should waited for you guys so I can join in the unboxing as well. i recently bought all the BTS album...major haul it was....so excited. My first ever BTS album was LY-Answer...I had attended a Korean Embassy event in my country they had games and quizzes and my friends and won the fullset of the LY - Answer albums (we split it amongst ourselves). And i got HOBI- my From then i made it my mission to get the rest. I pre-ordered Persona and fast forward later down ordered the remaining...(it took a while because I had to wait for ibighit website to restock as it were sold out at that time and I live outside the US). Lucky you guys have access to I called my friends and unboxing with them...it was so touching...
My favorite album is LY- Tear....my testimony of a broken relationship and the renewal of loving myself and doing what best for me from there. Gosh i love you guys and your journey of becoming ARMY. Borahae!

The way you were very careful unboxing the albums reminded me of Jungkook, Hobi and Jimin unboxing the MOP album. 😄😄 you would've "kill" them if you were closed to them. You should try and watch that on Bangtan Bomb
