Jim Reeves has been my favorite singer since I was an early teen. I love this song very much. Its one of my favorite of Jim's recordings. Its on the LP "Gentleman Jim" with a bunch of other beautiful songs. If I remember right, Jim and his pal Buddy Killen wrote this. Or maybe Buddy did and gave half of it to Jim for recording it. Every time I hear it, it seems fresh and just as wonderful as when I heard it for the first time.
