I’m trying to stay away from heavy solo games but I’m so curious about Deep Regrets because it reminds me of a video game called Dredge.
I’m also looking forward to Rise of Babel.

Great video as always - heads up in case unaware that this year Buttonshy are bringing out a wallet version of Deep regrets (shallow regrets!) which will play 2-4 and have a solo expansion. Don’t think would fit into your criteria for this list but I’m super pumped the bloody inn is getting a reprint this year! Never played but always fancied it

Great video! From your list I'm also looking forward to Speakeasy and Deep Regrets (although I suspect the solo mode for Deep Regrets will not be my favorite way to play). Other games I'm looking forward to for solo are The Hunters A.D. 1492 (delivering in just a few days), The Gilded Realms, DCeased, Jisogi, LA-1, Luthier, and Spire's End: Rangitaki (which just delivered and I haven't had a chance to table yet). Not from crowdfunding would be the recently announced big box and expansion for Lost Ruins of Arnak, although I'm not sure if that's supposed to deliver this year. Lots of great games!

Thanks for introducing me to Eternal Decks, Rise of Babel, and Natera. Hadn’t heard of any of them before and they all look great. Good call on The Sixth Realm. I did a solo preview playthrough of the game if you’re interested. It was my number 2 previewed game last year (after the amazing Galactic Cruise). It’s a lovely crunchy Euro that blew my mind with the fact that it uses no cards or dice in the gameplay.

Cool list! I'll have to keep an eye out for these releases and coverage of them. I think the only one I was really familiar with was Speakeasy. My most anticipated game for 2025 is Galactic Cruise. I just received my copy Monday and have punched and organized everything. I plan on getting my first play in tomorrow. Luthier and Raas: A Dance of Love are my other highly anticipated releases this year.

If expansions count, my actual most anticipated release this year is the South Tigris Trilogy expansions.

I love the photo of people playing Rove and there's a plate of powdered donuts on the table. Powdered donuts sounds like one of the worst things to eat while playing a board game.
