Nade really has become some dude. What a transition from an anxious teenager man. Wow. It really is inspiring.

Faze moving to LA was the biggest mistake. Most of the faze founders like Rain and Banks, got caught up in the crazy LA lifestyle. Someone had to run the company while they were out partying. Now they are crying that they don't like the direction Faze went.

It's good to know that Nadeshot understands very well different perspectives of the whole situation. As a Business man, Gamer and fan, because not many out there understand the Business perspective at all. Very educated Nadeshot has become and matured. If the original Faze Owners understood all of this back then like Nadeshot does. None of this would of happen in the first place. Investors will always look into their best interest first. ORGs need them, but have to know how to make deals that benefit the owners of the brand and not lose control

Every org needs an owner like Nadeshot. This is the example that many other orgs should follow in the future.

After growing up watching nade compete, he really is an incredible person now. The way he talks, the way he thinks about situations it’s amazing.

I'm 24, almost 25. I grew up watching faze, optic, envy etc. Personally, I agree that there is two sides to every story. Faze clan, the 5 owners, sought out additional investment aka capital, in order to expand. Sure that gives up creative control, management etc. It is important to note that, up until this point, they solely dealt with sponsors, that more or less were at their beg and call, due to their outreach. Some examples include g-fuel, csgo 3rd party skin websites etc. These businesses needed their outreach in order to succeed; thus, treating them more so as parteners, as opposited to equals. Giving them a positive view towards businessmen(big mistake), which is something they never should have had. True businessmen are solely out for themselves and their shareholders. Imo the "suits, " that joined the organization, have taken more control than they should have ever been allotted, in terms of ownership(thus, control) they entered business negotiations at 18-20 with minimal(positive) experience and got screwed by it. It sucks but, that's what happens when you allow the business world to enter your domain. I, basically, see their current actions as a way to possibly recieve the acknowledgement they truly deserve. Or maybe, if they're smart enough, drop the stock low enough, so they can regain majority ownership(via share repurchase), giving them final say once again. However, that ship has most likely sailed(since they became public). It's ease to say what you've said in your disposition(retained ownership of your org, after optic) but, imo, their nativity was taken advantage of; but, you have to live with it and move on. Those final comments, aren't a knock against you, just a unbaised perspective based comment.

“The tides raise all ships” might be one of the best quotes I have ever heard, especially relating it to esports because of how the scene is struggling

They are not clans anymore, they are businesses and the only thing that matters is money. Sad to see it all end.

This is very well spoken. This mindset is why he is so successful

when they first moved out of new york that was the biggest mistake they couldve made. Honestly the first LA house wasnt bad but after 2017 it went super downhill its so sad :(

Nadeshot is taking about business. Not talking about gaming itself

This definitely hits home for Nade after the Nick situation. He lost a friend and got shit on by a lot of people cos of what happened. He got investors in to take 100T to the next level and they collectively wanted Nick’s shares and forced him out. The business part of life is full of vultures and it ain’t nice.

As a 97’ who grew up making fake optic and faze usernames on ps3😂 and watching Matt quit mcdons as a sub as a kid, I can’t help but appreciate his honest take, I hope faze can get thru this and go back to their roots

One big thing he left out of the Faze recognition is that of those 7-8 out of 10 (if they’re neutral people with no fandom to the people in Faze) it’s almost guaranteed that all of them know them more for the scams, drama or the whole stock thing rather than the actual creators or teams

man teeqo was so loyal. bro took the biggest hit for that Save The Kids scandal, and now we find out he was getting scammed by faze too. he waited a long time to try and improve things before going public.
