Is This How MOZART Looked in Real life? - With Animations- Mortal Faces

I've recreated Mozart's faces to show what his portraits would look like in real life. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was a child prodigy and classical composer in the 18th century. He grew up in Austria and became famous throughout Europe. Despite his success, he wasn't good with money and his lack of savings forced him to constantly seek work. He died young at 35.

Mozart was an interesting video to do. His was the first where I tried to add scars onto his face because he was scarred from smallpox. I used photoshop, After effects and Cinema 4d to render his portraits.
I still don't know why his last portrait makes him look so old, when he apparently died at 35. Either way, I rendered that too but tried to keep the integrity of the original artist's aging. I also added my voice over to share more about this man.

I hope you enjoy and as always:

Correction: Mozart did have a happy marriage-- but a rough courtship. Also he died in Vienna, not Prague. He got sick in Prague.

He died at 35, but honestly, he looked like a person at twice that age. His life was excruciatingly difficult.

Mozart had smallpox at age 11, including pustules on his eyelids which left him blind for several days. The paintings don’t show anything but his “real face” must have had the scars smallpox leaves behind.

His financial struggles were due to him trying to be a kid again, spending to have fun, it’s psychological he spent his child hood working and practising, the man just wanted to have fun and doing what he loved !

It's great to see one of my favorite classical composers brought to life! Except for the 18th century hairstyle, he looks like a pleasant young man you'd see in town (video, starting 0:03). I'd also like to see Chopin brought to life!

The Mozarteum have stated that he had brown eyes but a number of people ie. friends have stated he had most definedly blue eyes. Great video! I would love to see Dante since he had an amazing face.

One of Mozart’s pupils, Johann Hummel described his teacher being of “small build, his face pale; his physiognomy contained much that was pleasant and friendly, with a touch of melancholic seriousness; his large blue eyes gleamed brightly.”

Wolfgang Mozart is an unusually handsome man. This person is aesthetically pleasing to look at. Alive, of course, he was even more beautiful.

This was awesome! Would love to see one for Elisabeth Vigée LeBrun, the 18th century portrait painter who painted portraits of Marie Antoinette, among other European nobility of her time.

Wow! Your re-creations are amazing! I was just thinking that Mozart doesn’t look real in any of his portraits, that he looks more like a cartoon. Your creations have brought him to life so he looks like a real person. Thank you so much.

I watched a documentary that came to the conclusion that he died from trichinosis, which is a roundworm infection that comes from eating undercooked pork.
