The Spinners was my favourite folk group. Saw them many times at the Colston Hall. Loved every moment of their shows. It's nice to revive the memories.

Great to hear this again after all these years. I saw the Spinners in Blackpool In the concert hall of a Pub across from the Railway Station. We were queing outside and the lads came walking up the street smiling and greeting. It was a small venue but the atmosphere was wonderful, The Folk clubs seem to have gone now. All those songs telling stories of hard work and poverty.

I used to listen to them as a kid too from my dad's vinyl. I played them to death and didn't look after them as I was so young. Used to leave them out of their cases and they got scratched and bent but luckily I managed to pick up mint copies of them at a record fair. I'm glad you are enjoying them too :)

Back in the 70s when the other 10 year olds were into T-Rex I went annually to see the Spinners for my birthday present at the Floral Hall in Southport. What a blast to hear this again! I almost wore the LP out, playing along to the songs with my little guitar :)

Thanks, great song .This is my 95th Spinners song collected.Most of them I recorded from the radio on an old cassette recorder so quality not good enough to upload.Saw them live at Princess Theatre, Aldershot on their farewell tour.Simply THE best and sadly missed.
