Disclaimer: I was recovering from losing my voice so its a bit more scratchy than usual, hope it doesn’t affect it too much. Enjoy!

THIS ONE WAS FUN! Today we try the US’s most unique guest. Uzbekistan Airways has served New York for a bit less than 30 years although only for about 6 years as a nonstop service. It may not be a life-changing product, but it is fun to fly on an airline that is so rare. Let me know your thoughts down below!

Flight Number: HY101
Aircraft Type: B787-8
Registration Number: UK78703
Flight Time 12h 12m

Im from Uzbekistan myself, and im glad you enjoyed ur experience with the Uzbekistan airline. And yeah in Tashkent, any car can work as a taxi, they are safe, i always get in to any car that stops, tell them ur location and they'll drive you there.

Kuwait Airways and Air Senegal aren’t really obscure, but they are uncommon in the US (although I think Kuwait Airways used to fly to Dulles in addition to JFK). You do a great job detailing your journeys!

Can't get any more exotic than this (from a US perspective). On really long flights, I usually whip out a good book or two. Looks like a hidden gem!

I think it was buckwheat, not quinoa 😉. Thanks for another great review. I expected this airline to provide a more robust product.

I recall Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane Airports have dedicated business class check in and direct access to secruity and into the business class lounges for Quantas and Virgin Airlines.

I had the pleasure of flying this airline round trip business class NY-Tashkent-NY a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised I loved the service. Flight attendants were aces and so was the service. But yes I was surprised by the insane amount of tape on the wing 😂 on the return flight of my 787.

Really unique and educational Patrick. Did you have any touring time in Tashkent, or were you connecting through? Keep the interesting content coming! ✈

Very very nice video. Always wanted to visit Uzbek and thought there were no direct flights from NA. This is a very good option from Toronto to NY and onwards to Tashkent. Adding to my list just need a few more thousands 💵💵 lol

9:58, I wish all airlines have all the fleets of the seat map on the in-flight magazines.

PS. I'm currently working in Tashkent and last week I went home with Turkish Airlines, flying BC. I was extremely surprise that Tk Business pax does not have access this part of the airport. Also I was a bit disappointed with Turkish A330 from TAS to IST.
