Professor Nicola Slee talk for St Mary's Festival Day Service 2021

It was fantastic to be able to welcome Professor Nicola Slee, who is Director of Research at the Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education, Birmingham, and Professor of Feminist Practical Theology at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam to preach at St Mary's Festival service on Sunday 5 September 2021.

Nicola is a lay Anglican and honorary vice-president of WATCH (Women and the Church). Among her many publications, The Book of Mary (SPCK, 2007) explores something of what Mary might mean for us today. She is currently finishing a book on the Lord's Prayer, to be published by Canterbury Press.
