How to Create Laminated Cotton

Take your favorite cotton fabric and turn it into laminated cotton to be used on all your projects that you need to be waterproof.

This makes me SO happy! I use old fashioned flat cloth diapers for my 19 month old son (have done so for all five of my kids), and was looking for a way to make a vinyl seat liner for the stroller for warmer weather so that I don’t have to use covers! So much easier as we can’t keep covers on him to save our lives! He’s a bit of a special needs baby after a traumatic birth, so I’m looking at a very real possibility of him being diapers much longer than the average kid, so this would be so helpful!

It's a really good idea to use a lint sticky roller on the fabric before laying on the vinyl, loose threads will be seen on your project forever once it is all sealed !!

Will this work with a polyester tablecloth cloth? I'm cutting one in half and using them to cover my nail table at school. I thought it was a vinyl with fleece on the back when I bought it....so I'm trying to figure out how to protect it. The polyesyer says it is waterproof and stain proof....but I dunno.

Just interested if I was making snack bag, would I still laminate the patterned side, or would I laminate the plain side, surely I'd want the inside of my snack bag to be waterproof and not the outside?
