#NOTSPONSORED

HEY BOO! I was looking for an easy and affordable way to clean my floors? So, I decided to check out the new O-Cedar rinse clean spin bucket mop! This mop is supposed to be great for getting your floors clean quickly, and better than the old O-Cedar spin mop!

In my opinion, the O-Cedar rinse clean spin bucket mop is not worth the money. It doesn't work that much better than the traditional mop and bucket.

Have you tried it, and did you like it?

I watched many videos and read reviews before I bought mine and most people recommended using a few drops of Dawn and a little white vinegar. I did this and put a cap full of Fabulosa in for a nice scent. It works wonderfully. And I do not use boiling water because sooner or later I'll get burned with it and don't want to take a chance. My tap water gets very hot and that works fine with using a funnel to pour it in. Boiling water on some floors will actually damage them especially hardwood floors. I had my own commercial/residential cleaning business for 10 years and I wish I'd had this product back then. I think it's better than anything else I've ever tried and I think I tried everything available including all the Swiffer wetjets and electric steam cleaners. The price, the user friendly design and how clean it gets my floors with six cats and a husband who never learned to wipe his feet, I'm very pleased with the results.

I think the floor is still dirty after because there’s two issues I see in your technique. I was thinking the same thing but, once you mop and have a dirty mop, you wring it out, release the valve, grab fresh water with the dirty mop, wring that out, and then go back to the fresh water and mop again. Secondly, you have to mop up the dirty water on the floor. It’s still there. You have to get a clean mop with the fresh water and wring it out until dry, then go back over the area to absorb the dirt. The first pass is to loosen. The way you did it pushes the dirt around and picks up some of the dirt.
I recommend using a spray bottle to get solution down. Then use a broom brush to agitate the floor. Then use the mop in the method above to absorb the dirty water on the floor.

Thanks for making videos like this it is very helpful and much appreciated!!! Just wanted to give you a little tip if you or anyone wants to utilize the mop and the clean water better. Close the tab where the clean water comes out after each use or you are contaminating the water with dirty water and also using more water than needed. If you want the mop more wet then don’t spin as much. That one should help with not having to refill the water as often. What I do is put the amount of water I need then close the clean water lever, spin and mop. After moping put it back in the spinner first to get out the rest of the dirty water in the mop head then dunk it in the clean water, spin and repeat. I hope this info helps. It might be a little extra for some but the is the best way to ensure clean floors and not have to use as much water. Have a blessed day ❤

My sisters swear by this product. One of my sisters sent me the items for the feet and I put them on my hands and used them to clean the dust from my television, blinds, baseboards, and monitor screens. They both laughed when I found out it was for my feet, but hey it is great. I received the O-Cedar as a gift from them, and I like it.

I’ve had this mop for about 6 months now. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!❤️❤️❤️❤️🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🥳🥳. I always mop with Mr. Clean and this mop get the job done and leaves my tiles super clean and house fresh. I think everyone should have this mop. I always fill my bucket in the bathtub and empty in the toilet

Nice to see the review, keep it up. Ok I'm a guy from the "old school". I actually bought this mop system also. I like it for certain things. For small bathrooms I think it's great. For small areas and cleaning up localized messes it's great. For total real clean I have the old school yellow bucket on wheels janitor style with press wringer attachment. Ones you see in commercial settings.

I bought one of those thinking it was going to be an improvement over the older one which I had. BIG mistake. First of all, the reservoir to hold the clean water is too small and I kept running out of clean water. Then when I had to rinse the dirty mop I had to dip it in the clean water reservoir in order to soak up more liquid so I can properly rinse it. Ended up that a lot of dirty used water got mixed up with the clean one. After about 4 cycles of mopping I already ran out of clean water and had to refill it again. I had to refill it 4x to clean up my average size living room/dining room and kitchen. The whole contraption is unbalanced at first because all of the cleaning liquid is contained in the clean water reservoir. I am going back to my older Ocedar and just use another bucket full of clean hot or warm water. So what if I had to deal with 2 do not spend money on this...keep using your older model.

Please be VERY careful with Essential oils!! There are certain ones that are detrimental to cats and dogs. just because its natural doesnt mean it cannot be toxic to their systems.

I use a different O Cedar mop that I love and I have had it for a few years now. It does a wonderful job. As they say if it ain't broke don't fix it. I live in a small apartment and storage of that big bucket would take up space I don't want to use for a bucket LOL. Thanks for the review.

I really enjoyed your review. Don't know if I will purchase the mop system but was curious how it worked. You did a great demo.

I have the original. It’s been a god-send to me. I love using a mop but it’s hard on my hands to wring it out. I love how you’re so excited mopping your floor. Another comment suggested using a bucket for the clean water is something I’m going to try!

Little Falls, NY, originally from the Caribbean. I was curious how this system worked and I really appreciate your time in going through the entire process. As an elder with spinal disabilities and arthritis everywhere, I can already see too many issues with the set up of this mopping system for myself. Although I like the idea of separate water partitions, it looks like it would be too heavy for me to lift. I use Swiffer Wetjet for my weekly routine and my Mr. Clean foam roll mop for my hot monthly cleaning. I have a short hair cat who doesn’t shed much but I live right next to a highway and active train tracks so the amount of dust that plagues me, Ohmygoodness! I have to sweep and vacuum every other day or else I find my cat chasing tumbleweed sized dust rabbits (not bunnies, because these have grown up!) around the apartment, no lie!
I must say, grrl, you rockin them slipper covers! LOVE them!
Again, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Like we say in The Virgin Islands, “Bless up!”, and, “Love alone”.

I had the original O Cedar spin mop and loved it. So when the mop and rinse version came out, I ran and bought one. I hated it!!! Mop head was too small. Wring hole was too small. And I ALWAYS ran out of rinse water. I didn't return it, but did end up giving it away. I am back to using the original...

I love this mop system, it works really well for me. Just want to say that maybe the reason you had residual dirt after mopping, was your "DIY" solution was not strong enough to break down the dirt on the floor, just saying.Liked your demonstration and loved the dog.

Heads up if you want to use boiling water you should get an electric kettle! Easy to use, heats water fast and and your can easier and safer. Thanks for the review. I bought this and wasn’t sure if I was using it right. I wish there was a way to rinse and then spin and then dip in clean water. I guess I can use another bucket. I also liked the ability to get the baseboards with it.

I used mine for the second time today. One thing I noticed and maybe no one else has is that, after you mop once, you are putting your dirty mop back into the clean water reservoir. Then you wring it out. You now have dirty water in your clean water reservoir. I know it refills with clean water but there’s always still water in it. Doesn’t make sense to me.

Hi from Ohio! I like mine & have had it a couple of months. I also bought a couple of plain white mopheads & I use them for dusting baseboards & up along the ceiling/wall "seam". The long handle makes reaching up in corners & behind furniture so much easier & faster.

Hi from Philly! After much research I bought and used this mop today. I really like it. I'm glad I got the new dual system instead of the single one. It's easy to use, the water is reasonably clean and my floor dries fast. 2 thumbs up for me.
