It’s a shame Ozone and Scarecrow didn’t feature as supporting characters throughout the campaign, or even the other characters from 141.
Ultimately Loose Ends is when they’re all wiped out so imagine if it was more than just Ghost being killed that upset us, as all these characters you’ve spent the campaign with start getting killed off.

not to mention Ozone and Scarecrow makes a return as both playable characters in MW3 in the specs ops mission where Scarecrow was on the ground pushing through a warehouse and Ozone on a building providing sniper support

It's been stated that Scarecrow and Ozone were killed by the mortar fire at the end of the level, since that's the furthest you can get with them if you really try. Also they featured in MW3 Spec Ops DLC Mission Kill Switch, where they detonated an EMP at a Russian comms site with Scarecrow providing overwatch

If you look deeper into into Elias walker from C.O.D. Ghost you can find out that his code name at one point was scarecrow and in one of the trailers for ghosts they talk about how they based off the ghost team idea off of ghosts from the original Modern Warfare series so the fact that he has a standard character model now just shows that they were putting him in the game as he was in ghosts

Fun fact: there’s a spec ops mission in mw3 where you can play as scarecrow and ozone

In cod4, there's a character called mac that usually appears next to gaz when he pulls out a shotgun in crew expendable and he was the cut demolition tutorial instructor. In the mission heat, he's on the radio call out the incoming tanks when he gets hit and dies. It's these little npc stories that gave the sense of being part of an army rather than just a 4 man squad

I remember always trying to keep ozone and scarecrow alive for as long as possible. Sometimes I’d get both of them to the end where you’re running to evac but they die from mortars :(

Man nostalgic when i played loose end back in the day i always protect them until they die near when roach and ghost going down the hill, and i always restart checkpoint when one of em die during protecting the dsm at the safehouse

if you pay close attention to those newspaper clippings you would come to know that makarov is a lot more than we actually know of him, he was responsible for Piccadilly Circus in og verse similar to that we saw in mw2019, there could be lot in there
maybe it would be the same in reboot verse

I always miss seeing the classic 141 guys, it actually felt like a REAL TASK FORCE. Now it’s just four dudes, that’s not a Task Force, it’s a four man squad.

The details of having dozens of other guys (all with different names/nicknames) in 141, the Rangers, the Marines, and Delta Force made it so much more immersive.

Notice how whenever Ghost is yelling, his voice is several pitches lighter than his "normal" speaking voice?
He deliberately lowers his voice to a growl to sound scary; his real voice is normal lol
