I’ve been living here for over 50 years. Never bored. There are tons of music festivals and concerts. Always a great time on the market, day or night. The NAC offers something for everyone year round. Short drive to several beautiful small towns in Eastern Ontario Western Quebec. If you want to do something, it’s not hard to find something to do.

Well done but here are a few updates.
1. The Byward Market no longer has a large farmers’ market and is not a safe place due to homelessness and drug addicts.
2. Parliament centre block is under construction so there are currently no tours. The House of Commons is located in the newly renovated west block.
3. Winterlude activities have been scaled back due to the mild winters. The canal was not open for skating in 2024.
