I just watched the original French movie and it really moved me. It showed how two struggling people from their own worlds can change each other’s lives. It reminded me to be more kind to my close ones. I loved every minute of this movie. It was made so effortlessly. No corny jokes, no exaggerations, just two people living their lives. This is the movie that could be rewatched many times and will not lose the allure.
And then I find this trailer. I am so beyond disappointed. This is a McDonald’s burger made for mass production.

I don’t want to judge a remake I haven’t seen for myself, but given some comments, I don’t think I will. The Intouchables was a marvellous movie and I don’t want to ruin how the whole story and original acting made me feel by watching a lesser remake...
