My first post on this channel.

To be honest, I found this clip on YouTube. Framesettings where a bit "out of porportion'. Sound could use a little 'help', so I did. Hope I did, modified & posted something that will please many. My honnor to present this version of the worldwide hit 'Music Was My First Love" in a way I prefer it . But all credits go to John Miles who composed & produced this unforetable composition.. Sincerely and with lots of respect for this unforgettable masterpiece.

LYRICS

Music was my first love
And it will be my last
Music of the future
And music of the past

To live without my music
Would be impossible to do
In this world of troubles
My music pulls me through

Music was my first love
And it will be my last
Music of the future
And music of the past
And music of the past
And music of the past

Music was my first love
And it will be my last
Music of the future
And music of the past

To live without my music
Would be impossible to do
'Cause in this world of troubles
My music pulls me through

Enjoy the Music, enjoy MUSIC WAS MY FIRST LOVE !

✨️ This song is impressively cinematic!!!...It will live forever in our hearts, as part of the wonderful soundtrack that has inspired our lives. By composing "MUSIC" in 1976, you had undoubtedly already reached heaven. Thank you so much, John, and happy journey back to the stars ✨️

Over the course of my 57 years on this planet I have encountered many forms of music and was a huge 80's music lover, but also during those years I'd hear this song every now and then on the radio at work, or while driving, and it never really dawned on me how incredible this song actually is until a few years ago as my tastes in music became more refined. Now I am proud to say that this song is probably my all time favourite, and I have requested it be played at my funeral when that time comes.

John was also a fantastic guitarist, he played with Joe Cocker in Dortmund and was absolutely great.

Thank you Belgium for giving our John his second and best professional home and platform. You kept his torch alive long after the UK no longer cared.

You know it’s a classic song when you have a full orchestra behind you.
