Theres a method that has 100% rate, wait till night, save the game, close the game, open it again, load the save, telepirt to a place where your sight vovers a lot of ground (preferably an area in which you have a lot of shrines unlocked.) Wait, and when it appears, just go grab it. The game is programmed so that theres a star fragment in every first night of a new game session, meaning everytime you closed the game and ooen it again. You can repeat this as often as you like

Watch out the star isn't falling where the camera is facing. It's falling where link is watching.
There is also a 100% chance that there will drop a start at the first night of a restart

Hebra tower. Go sleep in the cabin until nightfall, stand on top of cabin and look towards death mountain. Dinraal flies by there too so you can pick if you want to get a dragon piece or a star piece. They typically land in the Serenne Stable field, easy to leave your horse out and run and grab it.

This is exactly the same method I used when farming Star Fragments to fully upgrade all of the amiibo gear. The only difference is I placed the Travel Medallion next to the fire pit on the Great Plateau where you first encountered the old man. That way, I wouldn't have to worry about collecting bundles of wood all the time.

For me I just go around to all the different Lynels and defeat the Lynels, but the downside is the it usually takes a bunch of weapons

Can you please do a video about the random Yiga ambush spawn rates? I’ve noticed they spawn much more often on roads, they never spawn in extreme temperatures etc. I think it could be interesting.

If you don't want to waste time repeating this. Just get one star fragment and do the item duplication glitch/ item transmutation. He has a video dedicated to that glitch so be sure to check it out.

Thanks for the tip, I didnt know that traveling to shrines didnt delete the fragment. I would just sleep till next night every time it got to 2AM. THANKS :D

I remember watching a video a while back that said it was better to look towards the hateno tower from dueling peaks to prevent star shards from falling into water
