As usual Ed you take demonstration to the max in actual real world usage and situations. You always present actionable, useful knowledge. Always learning from you. And yes SOE gear is always bomb proof. I carry the hand and body warmers in my cold weather patient kits for auxiliary heating usages and the auxiliary regions. Line your bag with a emergency (space) blanket for extra insulation and gear will not freeze to nylon.
