Transcendence as a Stage in Awakening - Adyashanti

Adyashanti, author of The Way of Liberation, Falling into Grace, True Meditation, and The End of Your World, is an American-born spiritual teacher devoted to serving the awakening of all beings. His teachings are an open invitation to stop, inquire, and recognize what is true and liberating at the core of all existence.

It is nice to see people starting to get it and start to understand the relative nature of zip code reality. You are as god as it gets, enjoy it.

Now we have a bunch of people going around thinking level one and level two. Come on. What about level three, and... You are on a path. If you do not see the next step it is because you do not see the path. You can turn around and go back, or work on illuminating the path. Maybe this guy helps you to see it and now you may progress. Stillness is helpful for orientation, and enjoying the place were you are.

Very keen insight into the "process" of Awakening with the following Post-Awakening periods.  And yes, because the ego is still operative in a submerged form while in the transcendent state, it can emerge and so one gets "blinded" with an altogether too tainted form of conceptual based transcendence.  This may very well have characterized the former guru Adi Da.

I had an awakening experience around 4 years ago, it's been up and down since with episodes of anxiety and peace. I've realised recently that I'm stuck in that deep dualistic place and a lot in my life has fallen away (health, relationships, finance), it feels like a shedding of things that weren't truly me (held a lot of childhood trauma), but I'm worried I will shed too much and be left as nothing. I figure it's just a process and in time things will be ok as my awareness matures. Anyone else get beyond this stage?

Wow, I totally have watched a friend of mine get stuck in transcendence thus she does not care about her physical well-being anymore. Oppose to me where I have been able to go to the stage of transcendence, when I am inspired or self-induce, only to later come back to the reality of everyday life to work hard in order to increase my odds of being able to live longer so I can experience more completeness.

The result? I no longer fear death. But I do still prefer to be conscious. The power that comes coming full circle, I feel for myself at least, seems infinite.

Some things puzzel me, please help. In the state of T.. the I says i am comfortable, so there is def.. a solid I to judge. Then coming back to the name and form, one has to deal with issues witch i tought were trancended. So they were not.
