Bigger worry for me is John Murtough. He hired Ralf with a plan and then abandoned that plan. This transfer window was supposed to be about new era but we are resorting to old tactics of signing last minute stop gap players. This shows his planning is poor. Manager is supposed to have veto on players but now they go after any player the manager wants. This was not the plan. Ralf was a crappy manager but he had a clear vision. Arnold should have fired Murtough and given Ralf the reigns of rebuilding.

Honestly I can only see him being one of those problematic players that isn't good enough and we get stuck with for 6-7 years because we sign him on a multi-year deal and his wages are so high that no one will buy him off us. I hope I get proved wrong.

After 32 years of barely missing a match, I can barely be arsed with United anymore.
Last season was the first time in my life that I’ve ever just turned games off or fast forwarded them. Just so poor that I couldn’t bring myself to watch it.
Nothing to do with glory hunting - I watch as much NFL and NBA as I do football and have seen my teams win one Bowl (Saints) and 0 Finals (Bulls) in 25 years but couldn’t care less because the application is at least always there. Just don’t like us as a club anymore. We’re poorly run, fans are sold a dead horse every summer, our scouting is crap, stadium needs revamping, first 11 is crap, we’ve played shit football for a decade, and nobody in the boardroom seems to give a shit.
Obviously I’ll continue to watch United, but it’s become almost masochistic - like i just want to put myself through it for a cheap thrill.
United going absolutely nowhere until Glazers F off. Sick and tired of it.

I was there yesterday and we were worse in the first half than anything I witnessed there last season - which is madness in itself.
McTominay, for me, does absolutely nothing for 9 out of 10 games, so I’m at the point of wanting anyone to replace him. But if this is our plan F because we’re not getting De Jong then I agree; we’re in big trouble.
Ten Hag needs to look at the options we have (Eriksen, Donny, Garner, etc), because McFred has failed us for too long
